Thor is the littermate brother to our
show-string spotlight, Thalutations,
who was 1st place w/ 1st udder 2 yr. old at the 2006
National Show! We lost their dam to pregnancy toxemia, and
had a C-section done to save the kids. So both Thor and Thally have
been special to us since they were born. Thor is basically a masculine
version of Thally, with loads of dairy character and body capacity,
long, level rump and strong feet and legs. Not to mention a Beautiful
head! All his daughters that we have seen have loads of width,
especially in the rear end, excellent dairy character and great
general appearance. We have seen a few of his daughters fresh, and
every single one of them has a fabulous udder, and many
of them were out of 4-H does! To go with all that, despite his massive
size, he is very much a gentle giant and is very easy to handle. Thor
is pictured as a 3 yr old. |
